TIME CAPSULE As a former teenie bopper fan on Honeymoon Suite I remember
the old days quite well. En tant quancienne ado fan de Honeymoon Suite, je me rappelle des vieux jours assez bien. Hms came on to the music scene in 1984 and became idols
for many teenagers across Canada. Some of us were lucky enough to catch them live a few times over the years and got to meet
them in person.Those memories will stay in our minds forever. HMS est venu sur scène en 1984 et sont devenu les idoles de pas mal dadolescent a travers le Canada. Certains dentre nous
ont été assez chanceux et ont pu les apercevoir en vrai quelque fois pendant plusieurs années et qui les ont rencontrés. Ces
souvenir resterons en moi pour toujours. En 1986 Ray a quitté HMS et fut remplacé par Rob Preuss
(Jadis membre du groupe de Burlington, Les Spoons) pianiste. In 1987 while recording their third album Racing After
Midnight in LA lead singer Johnnie Dee was struck by an on coming vehicle while walking across the parking lot of the LAX
airport leaving him with his left leg broken 3 places below the knee. En 1987 pendant quils enregistraient leur 3ème album, Racing After Midnight in LA , Johnnie sest fait reverser
par un vehicule pendant quil traversait le parking de laéroport de LAX, so jambe fut briser en trois endroit au dessous du
genoux 1989 sparked the departure of Rob Preuss, Dave Betts
and Gary Lalonde and also the return of Ray Coburn after their album the singles was released. En 1989 surviens le départ de Rob Preuss, Dave Betts, Gary Lalonde, mais également le retour de Ray Coburn, Après leurs
album, ils ont publiés les singles.
Ray Coburn left hms in 1996 and was replaced by Peter
Nunn on Keyboards. Since 1990 the band has had many transitional bass players
and drummers until Rob Laidlaw and Bret Carrigan joined the band in 2001.Stan Miscek recently joined the band this past summer
replacing Rob Laidlaw Ray Coburn a quitté HMS en 1996, et a été remplacé par
Peter Nunn au piano Depuis 1990, le groupe a eut plusieurs bassistes et
joueur de tambour jusquà ce que Rob Laidlaw et Brett Carrigan eussent rejoint le groupe en 2001. In 2005 Stan Mizcek joined the band as a replacement for Rob Laidlaw and has filled
his boots nicely. HMS has evolved from the 80's band of yesterday to the
band they are today still kicking major a$$ and playing those gigs. And through the eyes of this fan I am glad I was able
to see a piece of music history that was and still is in the making by Southern Ontario's best rock band ever Honeymoon Suite. HMS est en course depuis les années 80 jusquà nos jours,
et il sont toujours autant de la balle ! ! Et a travers ces yeux de fan je suis ravis davoir eu
la possibilité une partie de lhistoire de leur musique qui faisait et qui fait toujours le meilleur groupe de rock de tout
lOntario bien entendu Honeymoon Suite |
