On November 1st 2002 I conducted a 2nd interview with lead singer Johnnie Dee. They say dreams come once in a life time, but mine came twice in one year. Before you all sit back and read the interview, I'd like to personally thank Johnnie once again for taking the time to talk to me. Johnnie youre truly an outstanding person and I really appreciated you answering the many questions the fans requested I ask you. CS: "What do you think of the chatroom we set up and how do you feel about the fans going into the chatroom to chat with other fans?" JD: " I don't mind it at all! I'd like to come in when I get a computer and talk with everyone! I hope that everyone is nice to each other in there!" CS: " Do you have a special place where you like to write songs and what time of the day do you like to write them?" JD: " It doesn't matter what time of the day I write them! I sometimes pull my car over and write and some times do it in my sleep!" CS: " When you're on the road what do you find is the hardest part about it and what do you like the best about it?" JD: " The hardest part is staying healthy when someone else gets sick especially if the singer gets sick! The best part about it is doing a show!" CS: " What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you during a show? JD: " Every night I fall off the stage! Some times the stages are smaller than other's and I end up falling! People think its funny but it's not funny to me!" CS: " What would you be doing if you hadn't chosen the career path that you did?" JD: " I don't really know! I've been in music since I was 14 I don't really know anything else!" CS: " What is a typical day on the road like for you? In other words what is your daily schedule like when you're on the road?" JD: " Wake up, eat, shower, get dressed, go to the gig, set up, do the sound check, do the show then go home!" CS: Do you do any other writing besides writing music?" JD: " No basically all music! One day I'd like to write a book and some poems!" CS: "Do you plan on doing any solo projects in the near future?" JD: " Eventually, basically Honeymoon Suite is my band and I wouldn't give that up!" CS: "What is the one thing the fans don't know about you?" JD:" That's a hard one to answer but I guess they'll just have to get to know me!" CS: "When you were in school were you the school hunk, the school rebel, the class clown or a nerd?" JD: " That's another good question but a hard one to answer! (laughs) you'd have to talk to the people I went to school with!" CS:" Can you tell me what is the most important thing you learned from being in the music business as long as you have been?" JD:" Keep your feet on the ground!" CS:" Where is the one place you haven't performed at but always wanted too?" JD:" Italy either to play or to visit!" CS:" What is the first guitar you ever owned and learned to play?" JD:" Ibanez!" CS:" What was the first song you ever wrote and what inspired you to write it? JD: " Just another girl! The title says just what it means!" CS: "Are there any plans to release a dvd or video of any of your recent shows or old videos?" JD: " Yes the show in England we shot a dvd of the show and a cd box set will come out soon!" CS:" We know you like to write songs , sing and play guitar but do you enjoy the producing aspect of recording an album as well?" JD: " I will be more involved in that , but I concentrate more on the vocals and the lyrics side of recording an album!" CS: " If you had to choose what time period you'd rather have been born in which one would it be and why?" JD:" I'm happy where I'm at!" CS: "When you write songs do you ever let your emotions?"
JD: "Yes all the time!"
CS: " Ok this is the last question! What do you feel the band has left to accomplish?" | ||||||||||||||||
